Let me introduce myself…..
“a whole new world…….a new fantastic point of view…” sorry, I was a little caught up in the song. My husband was singing that with ever fiber in his body tonight at dinner. The boys didn’t really know what to think and Emma Faye just stared and intermittently opened her mouth for her sweet potatoes…(ain’t nothin’ gonna keep her from her sweet potatoes…not even her daddy singing Disney tunes at the dinner table.) I really didn’t know what to think of this song selection, myself, but being that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and he is going to be working…I figured I’d pretend it was the serenade of our love. :) So I went with it and we began harmonizing. Will, still sick with the flu, would occasionally interrupt with…”I’m sick…..(whine, whine, whimper)” which..now that I think about it, was probably his way of kindly requesting that we stop. Hmm. I don’t know, perhaps it is the fact that we are now out numbered by our children (3 on 2) there’s a little part of me that enjoys aggravating the tots every now and then… just a little ‘innocent payback” if you will……so, needless to say Will’s pleas were to no avail. We kept on singin’ about our carpet ride!!
Anyway, so I begin my very first blog ever with the words of that song because i am now out there… in the new world of “blogging.” I just want to give a shout out to all my lady friends… this site is dedicated, meditated, initiated, (any more -ated words?)…for YOU! It’s for all my mammas, my peeps…my soul sistas… and anyone else who wants to jump on board and get a glimpse inside my life, a mother of three (ages 4 and under), and a wife of an AMAZING man finishing up his training to be a Pediatrician ER Dr. I love the Lord and I LOVE telling others the amazing work He is doing in our lives. It’s not going to be pretty all the time, but it will be real! So yes, here I am.. and I think I’m here to stay… at least for awhile. I just figured that I needed to find a little home to plant myself instead of shoveling all of my “deep thoughts” into other’s in-boxes without really asking if they wanted a little diddy from me or not. So anyway… I am still working on setting up everything… but I’m a blogger. Jenny Blogger here, at your service……Y’all come back now!…
