We are planning our first Disney World trip with the boys. I’m SO EXCITED!!! I’ve been a little overwhelmed with all of the planning.. one person says to do this… one person says to do that… one Internet site says this… one says that… it’s just crazy. Last night I begged Chris to sit down with me and help me sort out dinners and meals and parks….. we discussed some things and he said that he would make some phone calls……
Later that night I walked into our bathroom… drawn by a familiar song(yet not so familiar to our bathroom)…I walked in the direction of “Bi-biddy… bobbidi..boo!!” By the time I made the corner turn into the bathroom it was “You can fly, you can fly… you can fly!!” Musically speaking there was so much “joy” all and around that place… It was just seeping through the walls…dripping from the faucets……tinkerbell, herself, had probably made an appearance. I mean people, it was just magical…….
then I noticed my husband… standing at the sink…. shaving cream smeared all over his face… sort of like a sad Santa Claus (if you will)….the phone resting along side the toothpaste and the mouthwash was blasting the intoxicating tunes of Disney through the speaker feature. He was ‘on hold’ for a dinner reservation. I really wish I could have captured his expression with all of that “happy music” going on in the background… his only response…(I barely heard it through my dense laughter…)

yeah! we loved Disney! We are going again in January of 2008 (gotta plan more around the school calendar now, so we are only missing 4 days of school instead of 6 like we did in fall of 2006!) And the meal plan is Awesome - so takes the stress off. hope it is a great trip!

jenny!!! so when are you going?!?!?!? i can’t believe we didn’t talk about it today - so fun! we have actually been pondering the same. we have free entrance into several parks now until the end of july (i know - HOT…but free!), and discounted lodging, so we might actually go. our kids have no concept of what disney world is, so it would be so sweet to take them :)! thanks for being such a sweet friend!
