Tacos Tonight

ok, I officially need to wait until night to blog… there is just too much that happens from afternoon ’til evening. During dinner I seem to find my best blog stories…. so tonight… I have returned….. just gotta catalog this moment.  So we were all in the throws of eating and feeding babies and helping children eat their tacos without loosing all their “innards” on the floor…Well… after two  “please, may I be excused” were sounded… all was a bit quiet… I finally turned to Chris and he had on his plate one taco and then a pile of beef with cheese on top.  “Honey, there  aren’t anymore tortillas?”  “No……I’ve had six tacos.”  “Chris, you realize they only serve you three tacos at a restaurant, right?”  He just smirks….”I worked really hard today.”

Umm… and that’s all I can say about that.  Is that crazy?  He’s crazy…. six tacos… there is no telling what I am going to endure later….(if you know what I mean)….. ok… speaking of crazy… Chris is being so sweet and letting me watch American Idol tonight (I HATE central time… everything comes on an hour earlier..)…. soooo, He is bathing the boys as I am writing this.. I can hear all the screaming…….the boys that is… not those six tacos up there. They are wild tonight. (the children, again… not the tacos…jk!)  Ok… I promise, no more entries today…. what a random day today……..

plain old ‘today’

Nothing too exciting going on today except Josh is actually playing and STAYING in his room during room time.  I’m STOKED!!  This has NEVER happened before for me.  Chris can always seem to have a “come to Jesus” talk with him and he remains… but I have never been so fortunate.  Anyway… he’s playing nicely.  We had our first swimming lesson today.  Will and Josh are taking them together with Mr. Bruce.  My Gym has this little track that you can walk around and look down into all of the workout facilities… anyway… I strolled Emma Faye up there and was able to keep an eye on how the boys were doing.  I couldn’t believe that they weren’t screaming!  I looked down and Josh was sitting on the side of the pool like a good little fella while Will was having his turn and then I saw Will doing the same thing. (the class is just for the two of them).  I was proud… a little nervous… but proud.  I mean, what if one of them decided to just jump in the pool?  I figured.. what I suppose they were thinking… it would only take one time for them to learn not to do that again I guess.  I received and earful in the car on the way home… all about how they told Mr. Bruce how they do big poo-poos in the potty and how Will ran into Josh on his big wheel and hurt his leg… and how Josh has a “night-night” and a “ba-ba”…. I can’t imagine what that poor man was thinking.  But I am thankful for the experience… they will have 7 more lessons… twice a week for the next three weeks….

So nothing new here.  just plain old, life…. but I’m thankful for that, too.  We are having a normal week so far.  Chris gets off at a reasonable time tonight….Will has school tomorrow…..we are all feeling better. I have nothing else to write about……I’m sort of sad about that… but then again.. that’s good, right?  I mean.. that means no drama going on……… no drama is good.  :)
